There is one thing I recommend for the stars. Use perspective. Go to edit>Transform>perspective in photoshop and use that... Hope this helps

This is good... I only have one problem with it. The background is a little to real compared to the scan.

I am really liking this new concept of using real people, and you did a great job fulfilling that concept.
